The smallest and cheapest controller in the Power family

It includes Motion Control, PLC and control panel with LCD color touchscreen (HMI) available in 5.7 "VGA and 7" WSVGA. It is based on a powerful RISC processor operating at 132 Mhz 32 bit and coupled at high speed with a non-volatile RAM. Thanks to the wide connectivity CANopen, Modbus (both serial and TCP / IP) and Ethernet (in Client / Server, FTP or WEB server mode), it offers automatic machine designers powerful performance at very favorable prices. Due to its high connectivity, it offers the ability to monitor and control functions of machines and factories, with the ability to collect field data from different types of sensors. This feature, in addition to being price-friendly, allows designers to start a new technological development of machines, taking into account the rapid spread of IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) due to the gradual implementation of the European strategic plan Industry 4.0.

Power L is locally expandable with a cheap I / O extension card via SPI or via digital or analog I / O modules via CANopen. As in all controllers of the power family, it flexibly manages its resources. Regarding Motion Control, Power L can efficiently manage up to 2 interpolated axes in CANopen, 2 axes in analog +/- 10V configuration and 2 axes in step / direction. It also has 2 incremental encoder inputs for position feedback. Cyclic PLC and successive CNC tasks, thanks to the rich and powerful set of instructions, enable the development of flexible automation applications that adapt to different fields. The operator panel (HMI) can be personalized with fast graphical interfaces. Since it is connected directly to the motherboard, it is not affected by possible delays due to the data exchange between the controller and the control panel. On the front panel there is a USB port for storing and uploading data, formulas, application programs and firmware on a pendrive. The system can be updated with backup and restore functions.
Programming is accomplished using a single PC development tool made by Tex Computer. This enables the development of programs for Motion control, PLC and HMI. An online Debugging tool is also available that allows the developer to check the value of each variable, machine status, messages, breakpoints, logical status of the PLC branches and sequential program status, as well as the oscilloscope functions to monitor the movements of the axes. The Power L controller, like all other controllers in the Power family, has a text editor integrated into the operating system that allows the developer to program on the field without a PC.
